Could you give a SLOTH a home? ??

SLOTH (Stroud Library of Things) is looking for a new nest!

Our current home on John Street is closing in June, and we are looking for a local organisation to "take the baton" and host this thriving community resource.

What is SLOTH? It’s a community tool library where people borrow items like drills, hedge trimmers, and pressure washers for a small fee. We currently have:

✅ 140 items in stock.

✅ 100 borrows completed since last summer.

✅ 36 kg of CO2 saved.

What we need: A space (approx. 7.5 sq m) in Stroud where town centre shoppers can collect items. We provide the system, the tools, the training, and the support.

Why host us? It’s a fantastic way to increase footfall, support local sustainability, and add a new service to your existing community work.
